Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of students with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well districts and schools are partnering with parents and promoting parent involvement in their student’s education.
Any homeschool parent wishing to have their child participate in STATE Testing in May 2024 must contact the student’s zoned school’s guidance department for a testing seat no later than April 5, 2024.
School of Choice allows students to apply to attend a school outside of their zoned school. Approvals are based on capacity at each school. If you are not sure what school you are zoned for call the Transportation Department at 850-482-9613.
This training is designed to be a tool to help parents and caregivers understand the sensory systems and how to manage hypersensitivity or hyposensitivity to sensory input. The training focuses on the child as a whole person as we explore sensory issues, sensory modulation, emotional modulation, and the relationship between the sensory system, emotional systems, and behavior.

This closure is due to the projected time of winds in excess of 50 mph arriving in Jackson County on Friday afternoon. The safety of our students and employees is of the utmost importance.
