Superintendent Steve R. Benton, Sr. and members of the Jackson County School Board will attend the “Walkthrough of the new District Fleet/Maintenance Facility” at 3510 Russell Road, Marianna, Florida on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 3:30 PM.
School of Choice allows students to apply to attend a school outside of their zoned school. Approvals are based on capacity at each school. If you are not sure what school you are zoned for call the Transportation Department at 850-482-9613.
Convoy of Hope, in partnership with Evangel Church, will be having a drive-thru supply distribution Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 3:00-6:00pm in the front circle of Evangel Church. Food items, cleaning supplies, hygiene products and more. These items are available to anyone in the community.
This training is designed to be a tool to help parents and caregivers understand the sensory systems and how to manage hypersensitivity or hyposensitivity to sensory input. The training focuses on the child as a whole person as we explore sensory issues, sensory modulation, emotional modulation, and the relationship between the sensory system, emotional systems, and behavior.
Superintendent Steve R. Benton, Sr. announces all Jackson County school facilities will be closed FRIDAY, January 12, 2024. This closure is due to the projected time of winds in excess of 50 mph arriving in Jackson County on Friday afternoon. The safety of our students and employees is of the utmost importance. Reminder: Schools will be closed Monday, January 15th for the Martin Luther King Holiday.
